Welcome and Thank You For Visiting
Hello, I’m Geoffrey Newman — and I’m so glad you’re here.
My life has been devoted to the arts and to building community, a journey that’s given me purpose, joy, and wisdom. I wrote Better to Cry Now to share those lessons — a memoir about resilience, authenticity, and the power of staying true to yourself.
The title comes from something my mother told me: “Better to cry now than later.” Her words have guided me ever since, reminding me that strength begins with honesty.
I invite you to explore the site for insights from my work, upcoming events, and ways to connect. May my story encourage you to find your own path — with courage, compassion, and creativity.
